Position Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator will provide overall support for the Department of Food Systems and Society. This includes assisting with program development, implementation, communications, and operations. The Program Coordinator will have a high-profile role, which will involve working closely with faculty, students, program collaborators and supporters, and the general public.

Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2. Minimum of two years experience work in food systems.
3. Minimum of two years experience in program coordination and
administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of and experience working in sustainable food systems and
social justice.
2. Extensive computer knowledge and experience in word processing,
spreadsheets, and presentation software; knowledge and experience with social media and websites.
3. Experience conducting research and preparing publications and
presentations.
4. Experience working with students and the general public.
5. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative
environment.
6. Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills.
