The Chicago Council to Host Fourth Annual Global Security Symposium
The Chicago Council’s Global Agricultural Development Initiative is hosting its fourth annual Global Security Symposium “Capitalizing on the Power of Science, Trade, and Business to End Hunger and Poverty: A New Agenda for Food Security” in Washington, DC on May 21, 2013. According to the Chicago Council’s website, the Symposium will focus on how the US government can mobilize science, increase trade, and capitalize on the power of business to alleviate chronic malnutrition and poverty and meet future food demand. The event is by invitation only.
