Symposium on Agricultural Training and Education in Developing Countries September 18-20, 2013
Innovation for Agricultural Training and Education (innovATE) is hosting its first international symposium on capacity-building in agricultural training and education in developing countries September 18-20, 2013 at the Mason Inn Conference Center in Fairfax, VA near Washington, DC.
The event will explore successful agricultural training and education interventions and identify strategies to meet capacity-building challenges. The focus topics are: gender issues and gender curriculum in agricultural education, implementing interventions in post-conflict environments, and rural youth workforce development.
Deborah Rubin, Director of Cultural Practice, LLC and coordinator of the Digest Project, will be speaking on the topic of gender issues in agricultural education.
