APLU will host a webinar “How to Attract and Retain Women in Long-term Training” on  September 12th from 10:30 a.m – 12:00 p.m. EST. This webinar will focus on highlighting and discussing good practices that are used to identify and encourage female participants for long-term training and to design training programs that better support female participation and success.

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) is working with USAID to create a Knowledge Network among programs that are engaged in long-term technical training and/or leadership training. This endeavor will create a platform to share knowledge on best practices in human and institutional capacity development.  Over the next several months, we will host a series of webinars on different topics related to capacity building and have set up a discussion group on Agrilinks for members of the Knowledge Network to share resources and communicate with one another.
