Workshop on Biological control and management of Parthenium hysterophorus, July 13-17, 2014 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The purpose of this four-day workshop is to review the current status of this invasive weed in the world and discuss management practices that can be used to abate its adverse impacts. The workshop will bring together scientists working on Parthenium from Africa and other parts of the world to share information on its biology and management.Learn more

Fungal biopesticide workshop, July 28-30, 2014 in Bharatpur, Nepal
The purpose of this three-day workshop is to review current knowledge about fungal biocontrol and biopesticides. The workshop will include demonstrations and practical exercises that will provide valuable hands-on learning experiences.Learn more

Workshop on Invasive species, Aug. 13-15, 2014 in Tagaytay, the Philippines
Invasion of alien species has been accelerated by climate change, globalization, human mobility and adaptation. This workshop will focus on reviewing alien invasive species in the tropics, their spread and impact, and methods to control them. Learn more
