Feed the Future Innovation Labs for Collaborative Research and Partners Workshop: Accra, Ghana, July 8 – 9, 2013
The Feed the Future Innovation Labs for Collaborative Research (formerly CRSPs) held their Council workshop on “Scaling Agricultural Technologies and Developing Collaborative Partnerships to Prioritize Research for Development” in Accra, Ghana on July 8th and 9th. Innovation Lab Directors and researchers were joined by USAID/Washington and Mission staff from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, West Africa, and Rwanda, as well as research partners from Ghana and across West Africa. Over 83 participants attended the meeting which focused on critical research priorities related to agriculture and nutrition, developing resilient farming systems, scaling technologies (with special attention to horticulture and IPM), seed systems, and integrating animals and legumes into production systems.
