Description

Introduction: Environmental services can be thought of simply as positive externalities: benefits that accrue to people who do not pay for them, supplied by people who are not compensated for doing so. This helps explain why environmental services are often undersupplied and why there is interest in developing mechanisms to secure their delivery.
