Overview
Foliar diseases and pests are responsible for significant yield losses in the Guinean and Sudanian zones of West Africa and the higher rainfall areas of Southern Africa. Peanut production is an important component of small farm operations in these areas and disease and insect problems are often major factors limiting yield.
