Abstract: LCC CRSP gender adviser Dr. Sandra Russo (Univ. of Florida) reviewed the Feed the Future country plans of LCC CRSP focus countries and assessed current LCC CRSP research projects.

The resulting report is a desk review in which Dr. Russo, “examines the LCC CRSP projects efforts to integrate gender, using USAID directives and frames them within the new Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI).” She also examines country priorities and assesses their relevance to issues that affect women and children in those countries.
