Abstract: Researchers are working within the school systems in Tanzania and Nepal, teaching hundreds of children important lessons on poultry disease prevention and husbandry that can be applied at home. In a recent lessons-learned workshop for 48 students, teachers, farmers, and school board officials, teachers confirmed that the approach is working and they would like to scale up the program by training more teachers.
