Objectives
1. Document Mossi and Fulani indigenous knowledge systems relative to ethnoveterinary medicine and soil nutrient management. 2. Develop appropriate methodologies for conducting cross-ethnic participatory research and training; develop a curriculum that integrates indigenous knowledge relative to ethnoveterinary medicine and soil nutrient management. 3. Examine the impact of agroecological and socioeconomic change on indigenous knowledge systems and predict future developments and implications for indigenous knowledge 4. Establish a mechanism for using indigenous knowledge systems to set priorities and guide the agenda in research on natural resource management.
