Overview

This project sought to provide information that will guide Caribbean users on persistence of pesticides under comparable climatic conditions.

Objectives

To determine the persistence of pesticides used on Callaloo and Hot pepper.

Outcomes

The results of the pesticide residue experiments facilitate assessment and management of residue problems on hot peppers and provide risk assessment data to minimize side-effects of pesticides in Jamaica and provide a basis for environmental risk assessment.
