Description

Declining fish stocks in the Gulf of Mexico are causing the incomes of Mexican fisherman to plummet. One of the most lucrative native fish for Mexican fisherman is the snook, which AquaFish CRSP researchers at the Autonomous Juarez University of Tobasco are hoping to target with aquaculture programs in order to open new income opportunities and rebuild the wild fishery.
