Description

Abstract: A Farm-level survey of 150 households was conducted in the peanut basin of Senegal, and a profit function system estimated, for the purpose of analyzing the effects of policies affecting the peanut sector. Producer price of peanuts has very little effect on production, but producer price of millet influences peanut seed demand.
