Overview

This project focuses on improving the knowledge base related to dietary risk factors for malnutrition among children and women in Nepal. Our work aims to improve the ability to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition and agriculture-related programs by strengthening the tools used to capture dietary intake, enhancing knowledge of relationships between dietary consumption and nutritional status, and helping to develop applied skills and knowledge of nutritional epidemiology in a core group of researchers at the largest university in Nepal.
