Description

This policy brief discusses the impact of community organizations/capacity on successful management of natural resources, including forests. Specifically, the brief highlifghts two research sites near Mt. Kenya and in the Kakamega Forest. Local institutions discussed include management,benefit sharing, capacity building and conflict resolution.
