Description

For smallholder farmers in the Philippines, commercial fish feed represents 60-70% of production costs and has a significant influence on profitability. AquaFish CRSP researchers at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) have been working on reduced feeding technologies to curb costs for tilapia farmers without compromising marketable fish production. They have developed a variety of feeding strategies that allow farmers to select the option that best suits their individual farm and production approach.
