Description

Chapter 14 discusses the results of the SANREM 5-year water monitoring project. Generally addressing the issues of water quality, availability, the study finds that the amount of usable water per capita is in decline. Specific concerns contributing to this include population growth, glacier loss due to climate change, and the presence of bacteria in the water. The chapter also examines opportunities for the community to begin reversing this trend.
