Overview

Researchers examined how smallholder households mitigated their risk for natural and policy shocks through livelihood diversification including non-farm income. Researchers assessed the degree of diversification smallholder households need to achieve sustainable livelihoods. Projects were carried out in Cote d’Ivoire, Rwanda and Kenya.
