Description

On January 14, 2011 the Sandanista Government of Nicaragua along with the Instituto Nicaraguense de Tecnologia (INTA) released the new and improved sorghum variety, INTA Segovia. This improved variety produces higher yield than other varieties, and grows well in drought prone areas which will benefit resource-poor farmers that grow sorghum on the hillsides in dry zones.
