Description

INTSORMIL scientist Bonnie Pendleton of West Texas A&M University is collaborating with African entomologists to develop pest management strategies for stored grain. Storage conditions are critical in preventing losses of grain due to pests, but many farmers cannot afford to use insecticides to control storage insects. INTSORMIL scientists are identifying botanicals that can provide effective and low-cost control of storage pests.
